STANDARD SHIPPING
NOTE- All products are shipped from Japan.
- Delivery change charges apply to deliver to another address or reschedule delivery. You will be charged $10 if your request is completed.
- If a package is refused or returned to us due to an inaccurate address information, the shipping fee needs to be charged to reship your package.
- We do not accept PO Box as the shipping address to avoid fraud cases.
SHIPPING SCHEDULE
Shipment will be based upon the availability of the items you ordered and season of the year. All orders' (except custom made items) shipping process will take approximately 1-2 weeks if all items are in stock (it may take additional 1 week during the busy period; typically in the summer). You could expect your package to be delivered within 1 week once it is shipped. We will notify you with the tracking number once the package is shipped. We will also notify you in the case your orders' shipment is expected to be delayed.
CUSTOMIZED ORDERS & OUT-OF-STOCK ITEMS
If your order contains one or more items that are not in stock or customized items, your order will be held until all items come in and are ready to ship. You can request immediate shipping for the items that we currently can ship by indicating in the COMMENTS field at check-out (Extra Shipping Fees may apply).
EXPECTED WAIT TIME ON CUSTOM ORDERS
- Embroidery Orders - Usually 2-7 business days.
- Custom Iaito Orders - Crafting times are depending on the workload of our craftsmen in Japan. Please ask for the recent wait times for the Iaito that you desire, before placing your order. Usually 1-3 months.
- Custom Kendo Bogu Orders - The average crafting times for a Machine Stitched Kendo Bogu is 3-5 months, please keep this in mind when ordering. Hand Stitched Bogu and Bogu Parts will take 3-6 months to craft.
SALES TAX, DUTY, BROKERAGE FEES AND VAT
We are required to collect the HST sales tax for orders delivered within the country of Canada and GST and PST for purchases made within the province of BC. The tax will not be charged for orders for the USA, however, when importing goods into your country, there is a good chance that Brokerage, VAT, Duty will be applied to your goods when imported into your country.
- The receiver is responsible for 100% of those charges. Budogu Zen has no control over those charges. Please contact your border services or carrier company if you would like to inquire or dispute the charges applied to your shipment.
- No refund will be issued if you refuse a shipment.
ORDER CANCELATION
FOR NON-CUSTOM ORDERS / IN-STOCK BOGU ORDERS
When your order status is:- “Authorized”… No fees will be charged. Please contact us as soon as possible to cancel your order.
- “Processed”… 8% of the paid total will be charged. It will be deducted from the refund amount.(4% for purchase transaction fees, 4% for refund transaction fees.)
- “Shipped” … Sorry, we can’t cancel your order once your order has been shipped.
FOR CUSTOM ORDERS
CUSTOM BOGU, CUSTOM IAITO SWORDS, ZEKKEN, THE PRODUCTS WITH EMBROIDERY / CORD EXTENSION
You may cancel any order within 24 hours of placing an order.- Within 24 hours… No fees will be charged.
- After 24 hours… All of custom orders cannot be returned or exchanged. No exceptions.
